091/26 – Contractors for works at Rhead’s Meadows and Blackfirs Wood
The Council recalled it had previously discussed three quotes for maintenance works at Blackfirs Wood and Rhead’s Meadows, and had selected Congleton Town Council’s Streetscape team. The Council now discussed two quotes it had received (including from Streetscape) concerning a longer term and more comprehensive Service Level Agreement for maintenance and other ad hoc works. Both quotes were similar in terms of scope, but one was significantly more expensive. On that basis the Council resolved to select the Streetscape team’s quote and asked the Clerk and Chairman to meet Streetscape and further refine the SLA and timetable of works.
092/26 – s106 monies
The Council asked the Clerk to discuss possible uses for any available monies with Cheshire East Highways and schedule a discussion of this at its August meeting.
093/26 – Highways
Councillors noted that most of the fly posting at the Wallhill roundabout had been removed by Streetscape.
094/26 – Housing Developments
Cllr Hardman noted she is still awaiting a meeting with the new Bovis/Vistry regional director to discuss outstanding remedial works that are needed around the estate.

The Council asked the Clerk to schedule a discussion of the purchase and installation of larger dog bins at the August meeting.
