A Somerford resident has expressed an interest in becoming a Parish Councillor. If present, the Council is invited to interview the candidate.

The Council no longer meets the criteria for Quality Gold status and should discuss options for the future.

 

9)             ROMIs

To discuss any changes for handling the Registers of Members’ Interests in light of recent changes to the Localism Act 2011

 

10)          Contractors and works at Rhead’s Meadows and Blackfirs Wood

To review the current arrangements with Streetscape

To identify whether any additional works are needed

 

11)          Road Signs or Finger Posts

To discuss progress with sourcing quotes for new parish finger posts

 

12)          New NALC pay scales

The National association of Local Councils has recently published details of revised pay scales for clerks. The Council is invited to discuss the implications.

 

13)          Highways  

To discuss any Highways issues of concern.

 

14)          Housing Developments

To update the meeting on any matters relating to housing developments within the parish.

 

15)          Chairman and Members’ Reports

Councillors will report on follow up to items discussed at the last meeting, or matters that have arisen since.
